Manager (maternity leave)
My name is Kendyl and I grew up in the sunny Bay of Plenty before moving to Dunedin to study. After 9 years in Dunedin my partner and I relocated to Pukekohe in October 2010 and I have been with the Business Association since March 2011.
After leaving High School I studied at Otago University and graduated in 2008 with a Bachelor of Laws, a Bachelor of Arts (Majoring in Communications) and a Graduate Diploma in Marketing Management. Whilst studying I had worked at The Warehouse South Dunedin starting on checkouts and moving into a supervisory capacity over 4 years part time. On graduating from University I took up a full time role with the Warehouse eventually moving into the role of Sales Team Leader and then Duty Manager.
In 2010 I sat my legal exams to be admitted to the Bar, and moved to Pukekohe for work experience. The opportunity to work for the Business Association arose in February 2011 and I decided this would be a fantastic opportunity to combine my passions of Law and Business.
My team and I are working hard to ensure the vision of the Pukekohe Business Association is achieved and encourage you to contact our office with any concerns, queries or compliments!
Outside of work you will find me enjoying weekends with my partner, visiting family and friends or relaxing with a good book, listening to music and seeking out a sunny patch to relax in. I am a big soccer and tennis fan and in November 2014 I ran my first (and last) half marathon!
